Wink believes in YOU… only better. Our goal is to enhance your natural beauty with the most advanced aesthetic treatments in a relaxing, spa-like environment. ### Meet Our Founder

Michele Wood is a licensed medical esthetician who loves connecting with and nurturing others. She is passionate about helping people look and feel like the best versions of themselves and bringing the joy of newfound confidence into their lives. In 2010, Michele and her husband, Gregg Wood, M.D., opened Wink Medical Aesthetics to provide Lakeway patients with the pampering of a boutique day spa combined with the age-reversing results of medical-grade treatments. They have since teamed up with equally passionate licensed aestheticians and cosmetic specialists who take the time to listen to, educate and laugh with their patients.

I am ecstatic with the results!!! My lines are diminished, softened but not completely gone. I feel at least 10 years younger but not so much that someone who knows me would look at me and say, “Oh my…. what has she done?!?!?! I had a couple of very deep high  cheek lines that really bothered me and now are pretty much gone, which is incredible. I would highly recommend this procedure and filler. Michele is truly a magician. She knows exactly how to achieve the results you have in mind.

My experience at Wink was incredible!! From the moment I walked in, the front desk was super helpful and friendly. I then got a hydrafacial with Jane who was so sweet and helped my skin feel amazing!! After my facial, I met with Nurse Morgan, who was super detailed and thorough while explaining the procedure, which I really appreciated. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing, which helped put me at ease as this was my first time. Overall 5 stars - great experience & great staff. I will be back!! :)

I had the best experience from the minute I walked in. I was greeted and helped so quickly by the front desk who was so friendly and sweet. I started my day with a hydrofacial …the best facial I’ve received. Mitzi was amazing and made it so comfortable I was so relaxed that I fell asleep. My skin feels amazing. To end the day I met with Nurse Morgan who was the best, so experienced and friendly. Best spa experience. I’d recommend this spot to everyone

Gregg Wood received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Austin College in Sherman, TX, before earning his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He continued his medical training by completing his internship at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA and a residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Wood is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Wood is committed to overseeing quality patient care and service and believes that Wink’s patients should be well-informed and educated on any procedure before deciding to have a treatment. Dr. Wood is always available for questions. He takes the time to get to know patients and understand their needs and desires. Through continuing medical education, Dr. Wood stays up on the latest aesthetic innovations so that Wink can continue to serve patients with the latest breakthrough technologies. Dr. Wood has been certified by Syneron in the use of all of their aesthetic lasers. He is also certified as an advanced injector in both Botox and the Juvederm family of fillers.

The transformative effect of laser treatment on her own skin sparked Jane’s passion for aesthetics and lasers, a passion she brings to Wink daily. Heather’s global upbringing afforded her the luxury of experiencing various cultures and sceneries, yet her heart found its home in Texas. An alumna of the University of Texas at Austin, she graduated with a degree in Economics and a focus on Money & Banking.

Heather’s professional path has been as dynamic as her early travels. She ventured into the consulting realm, specializing in employee benefits, which continued her journey across the United States. Her flair for design led her to own a real estate staging and redesign business, certified in redesign. Her path took a turn towards medical marketing, working with Austin physicians to grow their practices. It serendipitously introduced her to the med spa industry—where she’s dedicated to enhancing clients’ self-esteem through self-care.

For the past 12 years, Heather has been immersed in the med spa world, cherishing her last four with Wink. Managing patient care and overseeing the day-to-day operations alongside a team of inspiring women is her professional nirvana. The vibrant office environment and the diversity of individuals she meets enrich her days.

Back home, life is a lively blend of family and sports, with two active boys and two fur babies completing her household. Together with her husband, they revel in Austin’s vibrant outdoors—soaking up the sun on lake days, unwinding by the pool, enjoying the local patios, and touring the wineries sprinkled throughout the Hill Country, making the most of the city’s rich tapestry of activities.

Tammy’s roots trace back to the vibrant Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and it was at The University of Texas at Austin where her journey took an exciting turn. As a cheerleader with a focus on Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology, she found her academic rhythm. It was also within U.T.’s spirited halls that she met Dennis, her husband.

After earning her degree, Tammy dedicated a few years to a Dallas-based physical rehabilitation facility. Not long after, she and her college beau, Dennis, who had embarked on a professional baseball career, tied the knot. This new chapter in her life brought the thrill of traveling across the U.S., exploring the myriad of cities where the game took them.

In 2015, Tammy joined the Wink family and swiftly became indispensable. Whether it’s orchestrating patient care, organizing celebratory events or tackling the occasional “fix it” problem, her role is a glove fit. The joy of working with Wink’s incredible clientele and the camaraderie with the team is a source of daily inspiration for her.

Home life for Tammy is a bustling household with adult triplets—two sons and a daughter (plus a son-in-law)—and a lively crew of two dogs and two granddogs. Leisure time is a blissful retreat to the family’s coast house, engaging in tennis matches or wandering the lush greenbelts of Austin.

Karen’s journey began under the sunny skies of Southern California, where she attended U.C. Santa Barbara for her degree. Before bringing her talents to Wink, she immersed herself in the culinary business as a local restaurant owner for a decade. Her diverse career also includes roles in customer relations and operations management for two Austin-based companies, as well as a significant stint in the fashion industry. Throughout her varied career, Karen has consistently delivered outstanding customer experiences.

Karen is known for her warmth and dedication to making every client’s visit special at Wink. From sharing enlightening information about our offerings to organizing their future appointments, she’s the go-to for ensuring a seamless experience. Witnessing the transformative journeys of clients as they look and feel their best is one of her greatest joys at Wink.

Family is central to Karen’s life, with two adult children, two stepchildren, and the companionship of “Tito,” her white German Shepherd, and “Earl,” her tuxedo cat. Residing in Lakeway with her retired helicopter pilot husband, Nick, she enjoys cycling, Pilates, yoga, live music and the culinary and cultural explorations Austin has to offer. What inspires her? The beautiful people in her life, a riveting book, and the thrill of traveling to new destinations.

Hi everyone!

My name is Morgan Briant. I’m a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 9 years. I switched from being a traveling nurse, working with those in crisis, to Aesthetic Nursing 3 years ago because it is my true passion. My goal is to deliver beautiful yet natural results that help you look and feel your best from the inside out. I believe in honest consultations with customizable treatment plans.

Painting is one of my favorite hobbies, and as a nurse injector, I believe injecting dermal fillers and neuromodulators is also a form of art. I’m excited to combine both art and science with all of you at Wink Aesthetics.

I have a very friendly, warm, and calming presence. I am looking forward to establishing and maintaining relationships with all of my clients at Wink Medical Aesthetics.

April is a true Texan, her roots firmly planted in the DFW area, with her formative years spent in Arlington. After high school, she ventured to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas, earning a B.A. before diving into the world of aesthetics at The Aveda Institute. It was there that her journey in beauty and skincare began, leading her to obtain some of her certifications.

With a rich background that includes working alongside a plastic surgeon, a dermatologist and various med spas, April has refined her skills to become an esteemed skincare and laser specialist. Her expertise expanded in 2016 when she embraced the role of aesthetic injector, working with acclaimed brands like Allergan, Galderma, Merz and Sciton.

April holds certifications in the most current injectable techniques, CoolSculpting and various Sciton laser treatments such as HALO, MOXI, BBL Hero, ClearV and BareHR. Currently, her passion for learning is channeled into her studies at ACC, as she’s determined to further her education, aiming for an R.N. and eventually an N.P. degree.

Her favorite part of the job? April can’t choose just one. Her dedication is to the results, the boost in self-esteem and the joy she brings to her clients, making them feel and look their best. It’s the smile on a client’s face that truly defines her success and passion for her work.
