Owner, Esthetician, Injector
Michele Wood proudly launched Wink Medical Aesthetic in November 2010, and she is the heart and soul of the business. Her dream was to create a space that marries cutting-edge medical aesthetics with the comforting feel of a top-tier day spa. A licensed medical esthetician who operates with a nurturing philosophy, Michele firmly believes in the power of nurturing to uplift each treatment she offers. She advocates for the idea that beauty radiates from within and enjoys boosting external allure, demonstrating the wonders a touch of self-care can work on confidence.
Injecting is Michele's forte. For over 11 years, she's gained extensive knowledge on the subject and mastered the balance between medical precision and artistic flair. Recognized for her keen 'eye', Michele aims for nothing less than enhance natural beauty to reflect everyone's unique charm. Education is a pillar of her approach, both in her continuous professional development and when informing her clients. This dedication has led her to exclusive one-on-one sessions with top-tier trainers, including the premier injection trainer at Allergan and renowned international experts in dermal fillers.
Michele's commitment to excellence is evident in her relentless pursuit of advanced training. She has been a part of Allergan's Master Expert Programs and has trained extensively with leading specialists from Galderma. While injecting is her primary passion, Michele is also a certified expert in various treatments, from HALO, MOXI, and BBL Hero to CoolSculpting, where she holds a master's certification.
Outside the walls of Wink, Michele's world is filled with the joy of her two wonderful daughters and the playful chaos of three beloved Labradors. Her free time is a blend of family, friends, culinary adventures, travel, fitness, boating and soaking in the stunning Texas sunsets— a perfect recharge for her passion-fueled profession.

Gregg Wood, M.D.
Owner, Medical Director
Gregg Wood received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Austin College in Sherman, TX, before earning his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He continued his medical training by completing his internship at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA and a residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Wood is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Wood is committed to overseeing quality patient care and service and believes that Wink’s patients should be well-informed and educated on any procedure before deciding to have a treatment. Dr. Wood is always available for questions. He takes the time to get to know patients and understand their needs and desires. Through continuing medical education, Dr. Wood stays up on the latest aesthetic innovations so that Wink can continue to serve patients with the latest breakthrough technologies. Dr. Wood has been certified by Syneron in the use of all of their aesthetic lasers. He is also certified as an advanced injector in both Botox and the Juvederm family of fillers.

April Campbell, L.E.
Esthetician, Injector

April is a true Texan, her roots firmly planted in the DFW area, with her formative years spent in Arlington. After high school, she ventured to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas, earning a B.A. before diving into the world of aesthetics at The Aveda Institute. It was there that her journey in beauty and skincare began, leading her to obtain some of her certifications.
With a rich background that includes working alongside a plastic surgeon, a dermatologist and various med spas, April has refined her skills to become an esteemed skincare and laser specialist. Her expertise expanded in 2016 when she embraced the role of aesthetic injector, working with acclaimed brands like Allergan, Galderma, Merz and Sciton.
April holds certifications in the most current injectable techniques, CoolSculpting and various Sciton laser treatments such as HALO, MOXI, BBL Hero, ClearV and BareHR. Currently, her passion for learning is channeled into her studies at ACC, as she's determined to further her education, aiming for an R.N. and eventually an N.P. degree.
Her favorite part of the job? April can't choose just one. Her dedication is to the results, the boost in self-esteem and the joy she brings to her clients, making them feel and look their best. It's the smile on a client's face that truly defines her success and passion for her work.

Jane Weafer, L.E.
Laser Professional
Jane combines her role as a licensed medical aesthetician with the precision of a certified laser specialist. Her journey in the aesthetic world began at the Ann Webb Skin Institute, where she honed her skills and acquired her aesthetic certification. The pursuit of excellence led her to Texas Laser & Aesthetics for her laser licensure, mastering technologies such as IPL, Resurfacing, Laser Hair Removal and Sciton's suite of lasers: HALO, BBL Hero, MOXI, TRL Contour Deep Resurfacing, ClearV and BareHR.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Jane achieved the pinnacle of her field as a Laser Safety Officer, recognized by the State of Texas. Her expertise deepened further through training with a top clinical trainer from Sciton. The transformative effect of laser treatment on her own skin sparked Jane's passion for aesthetics and lasers, a passion she brings to Wink daily. There, she thrives on working with a plethora of lasers, Ultherapy, SkinPen, facials and chemical peels, driven by the goal of helping Lakeway's residents achieve radiant skin that could make people wonder about the secret of their vitality.
When she's not transforming complexions, Jane's world revolves around her family, their beloved pets, the indulgence of Tex-Mex, the richness of dark chocolate and the luxury of a morning spent sleeping in. A fitness enthusiast and traveler, she loves to explore new destinations with her family and is always on the move for the next adventure.
Mitzi Bradshaw, L.E.

Mitzi brings a vibrant mix of passion and expertise to her role as a Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Skincare Therapist. A Fine Arts graduate from the University of Tennessee, Mitzi's artistic journey began with prestigious roles as a makeup artist for luxury brands Chanel and Dior. It wasn't long before her talents turned towards enhancing skin health, aiming to achieve perfection without the need for makeup.
With over two decades of experience, Mitzi has mastered an impressive array of skin treatments. She's well-versed in HydraFacial, SkinPen, Peels, Tinting and Oxygen Facial, among others, and is a knowledgeable source for top-tier skincare lines.
Mitzi's approach to beauty is holistic; she champions the belief that true radiance emanates from within. She takes pride in offering an exceptional experience, focusing on wellness that translates to glowing skin and client contentment.
Ever the student of her craft, Mitzi stays at the forefront of aesthetic innovation, continually honing her skills to elevate her artistic and aesthetic expertise. Away from work, she cherishes time spent in North Carolina with her daughter and grand-puppy Rabbit, explores her passion for painting and enjoys lively moments with her husband.

Phyllis Teal
Director of Operations
Phyllis came to Wink after many years in the Sales and the Spa Industry. She has always had a passion for Beauty and is now living her dream of working in the industry. Throughout the years, Phyllis has become the face of Wink. Patients often stop by just to sit and chat with Phyllis during their day. Besides coordinating treatments, educating patients and looking up patients' reward points, you can often find her sharing pictures of her "Girls", Goldendoodles Lexi and Bella, or helping watch a patient's little one while they are getting a treatment. She has a knack for making everyone feel at ease and special. You can always count on seeing her smiling face and welcoming spirit when entering Wink!

Heather Haynes
Spa Manager / Patient Coordinator
Heather's global upbringing afforded her the luxury of experiencing various cultures and sceneries, yet her heart found its home in Texas. An alumna of the University of Texas at Austin, she graduated with a degree in Economics and a focus on Money & Banking.
Heather's professional path has been as dynamic as her early travels. She ventured into the consulting realm, specializing in employee benefits, which continued her journey across the United States. Her flair for design led her to own a real estate staging and redesign business, certified in redesign. Her path took a turn towards medical marketing, working with Austin physicians to grow their practices. It serendipitously introduced her to the med spa industry—where she's dedicated to enhancing clients' self-esteem through self-care.
For the past 12 years, Heather has been immersed in the med spa world, cherishing her last four with Wink. Managing patient care and overseeing the day-to-day operations alongside a team of inspiring women is her professional nirvana. The vibrant office environment and the diversity of individuals she meets enrich her days.
Back home, life is a lively blend of family and sports, with two active boys and two fur babies completing her household. Together with her husband, they revel in Austin's vibrant outdoors—soaking up the sun on lake days, unwinding by the pool, enjoying the local patios, and touring the wineries sprinkled throughout the Hill Country, making the most of the city's rich tapestry of activities.
Tammy Cook
Patient Coordinator

Tammy's roots trace back to the vibrant Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and it was at The University of Texas at Austin where her journey took an exciting turn. As a cheerleader with a focus on Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology, she found her academic rhythm. It was also within U.T.'s spirited halls that she met Dennis, her husband.
After earning her degree, Tammy dedicated a few years to a Dallas-based physical rehabilitation facility. Not long after, she and her college beau, Dennis, who had embarked on a professional baseball career, tied the knot. This new chapter in her life brought the thrill of traveling across the U.S., exploring the myriad of cities where the game took them.
In 2015, Tammy joined the Wink family and swiftly became indispensable. Whether it's orchestrating patient care, organizing celebratory events or tackling the occasional "fix it" problem, her role is a glove fit. The joy of working with Wink's incredible clientele and the camaraderie with the team is a source of daily inspiration for her.
Home life for Tammy is a bustling household with adult triplets—two sons and a daughter (plus a son-in-law)—and a lively crew of two dogs and two granddogs. Leisure time is a blissful retreat to the family's coast house, engaging in tennis matches or wandering the lush greenbelts of Austin.
Karen Herzberg
Patient Coordinator
"I love working at Wink because I’m surrounded by friends." Karen's journey began under the sunny skies of Southern California, where she attended U.C. Santa Barbara for her degree. Before bringing her talents to Wink, she immersed herself in the culinary business as a local restaurant owner for a decade. Her diverse career also includes roles in customer relations and operations management for two Austin-based companies, as well as a significant stint in the fashion industry. Throughout her varied career, Karen has consistently delivered outstanding customer experiences. Karen is known for her warmth and dedication to making every client's visit special at Wink. From sharing enlightening information about our offerings to organizing their future appointments, she's the go-to for ensuring a seamless experience. Witnessing the transformative journeys of clients as they look and feel their best is one of her greatest joys at Wink. Family is central to Karen's life, with two adult children, two stepchildren, and the companionship of "Tito," her white German Shepherd, and "Earl," her tuxedo cat. Residing in Lakeway with her retired helicopter pilot husband, Nick, she enjoys cycling, Pilates, yoga, live music and the culinary and cultural explorations Austin has to offer. What inspires her? The beautiful people in her life, a riveting book, and the thrill of traveling to new destinations.
