Dual Lift

Most people don’t walk in and say, “I need filler.”

They say things like:

“I look tired, even when I’m not.”

“Something feels off, but I can’t figure out what it is.”

“My face just looks… heavier.”

What they’re noticing isn’t about one line or one area.
It’s structural.

Over time, the support system of the face begins to shift. The temples lose support. The cheeks don’t sit where they used to. The jawline softens. And instead of everything working together, features start to fall out of balance.

At Wink Medical Aesthetics, the Dual Lift is designed to restore support in the areas that create the greatest lifting effect, helping the face look naturally refreshed without looking overfilled. We see patients from Lakeway, Bee Cave, Austin, Dripping Springs, Steiner Ranch, Spicewood, and surrounding communities who are ready for a more thoughtful, long-term approach to facial balancing.

What Is the Dual Lift?

What Is the Dual Lift?

The Dual Lift is a customized dermal filler treatment focused on structural support rather than simply adding volume.

Instead of treating isolated lines, we evaluate how your face functions as a whole and strategically place filler in two key support zones to create lift, balance, and definition.

Common treatment areas may include:

  • The posterior cheek (a true lifting zone)
  • The lower cheek or jawline (for definition and pull-back support)
  • The medial cheek (to support deeper fat pads and improve overall lift)

By restoring support laterally, lifting from the sides rather than pushing volume forward, results look softer, more natural, and more balanced.

This is why two patients may receive the same amount of filler yet have completely different treatment plans. It’s not about quantity: it’s about where structure is built.

How the Dual Lift Works

Most filler treatments focus on a single area at a time. The Dual Lift focuses on how everything works together.

When the face begins to shift over time, support is rarely lost in just one area. Everything above those structural zones begins to follow. Treating one spot in isolation often leads to results that feel incomplete.

With the Dual Lift, we identify where support has diminished and build there first, creating a cohesive lift that improves the face as a whole.

One of the most powerful aspects of this approach: when the midface is properly supported, concerns like under-eye shadowing and nasolabial folds often soften as a natural secondary effect without directly treating them.

Areas We Target

The Dual Lift focuses on two structural zones selected based on your anatomy and goals. These commonly may include:

Temples treatment area illustration
  • 01Temples — Restoring support here rebalances upper facial proportions and creates a subtle lifting effect through the brow and outer eye area. This is not about fullness — it’s about rebuilding foundation.

Posterior cheek treatment area illustration
  • 02Posterior Cheek — Working further back along the cheekbone acts as a true lifting point, repositioning the midface without pushing volume forward.

Below the cheekbone treatment area illustration
  • 03Below the Cheekbone — Strategic placement here creates lift and contour without over-enhancing the cheeks themselves, improving overall facial balance.

Base of the jawline treatment area illustration
  • 04Base of the Jawline — Placement here creates a subtle pull-back effect that defines the lower face and restores contour rather than adding weight.

Midface treatment area illustration
  • 05Midface — When appropriate, this area is included to restore balance and address flattening. In many cases, once structural zones are supported, improvements here happen naturally.

A Treatment Built in Phases

The Dual Lift is not designed to be a one-and-done treatment. It’s a process.

Your first visit focuses on building the structural foundation, placing support where your face needs it most. About four weeks later, we bring you back to reassess once the filler has settled, then refine or layer if needed.

This phased approach allows for more precise, natural-looking results and avoids over-treating in a single session. Some patients complete treatment in one phase; others choose to build gradually over time.

Results

Real Results:
A Dual Lift in Practice

One patient came in feeling like her under-eye area looked tired and her midface had started to feel flat even though she hadn’t noticed dramatic aging elsewhere.

Rather than treating the under-eyes directly, we focused on building support in two structural zones. After her first phase, we saw a noticeable improvement not only in cheek contour, but also in her tear trough area — without ever targeting it directly.

This is the advantage of a structural approach. When the foundation is supported, other areas often improve as a natural result.

What to Expect

01

Your Consultation

Every Dual Lift begins with a conversation. We want to understand what you’re seeing, what feels different, and what you’d like to restore. Our providers evaluate your facial structure as a whole (not just individual areas) to determine where support has shifted and how to rebuild it naturally. You’ll leave with a personalized plan designed not only for today, but for maintaining your results over time.

02

Your First Treatment

Your first treatment creates structural support in the two areas that will have the greatest lifting impact. Treatment is performed in-office and typically takes about 60 minutes, using advanced dermal fillers selected specifically for each area. Most patients find the experience very manageable.

03

Refinement and Maintenance

About four weeks after your first visit, we reassess once the filler has settled. From there, we refine or enhance if needed. Many patients return around the one-year mark to maintain facial balance long term.

04

Recovery and Results

Mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness can occur and typically resolves within a few days. Most patients return to normal activities the same day. Because this treatment is built on structure, results tend to feel balanced and cohesive: noticeable across the face, not tied to one specific area.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

Most patients who are a good fit for the Dual Lift don’t come in asking for it by name. They come in describing a feeling:

“I feel like things have shifted.”

“My face looks flatter than it used to.”

“My jawline isn’t as defined anymore.”

You may be a good candidate if you’re noticing:

  • Hollowing in the temples or changes in upper facial support
  • Flattening through the cheeks or midface
  • A softer or less defined jawline
  • Subtle jowling or loss of contour
  • A general sense that your face looks heavier or less lifted

The Dual Lift is especially helpful for patients who have tried treating individual areas before and still felt like something was missing. There’s no “right age”: some patients are addressing early structural changes; others are ready for a more comprehensive plan. What matters most is having a strategy built around your face.

Risks and Considerations

The Dual Lift is generally well tolerated when performed by experienced providers using advanced techniques.

Common side effects include temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, or redness at the treatment sites, typically resolving within a few days. Less common risks can include unevenness or small areas of firmness as the product settles.1 Rare complications are possible, which is why treatment should always be performed by a trained team.

At Wink Medical Aesthetics, patient safety is always the priority. Every treatment is performed under medical oversight using a thoughtful, anatomy-based approach. During your consultation, we’ll review your medical history, answer your questions, and make sure you feel fully informed before moving forward.

The Dual Lift may not be appropriate for patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain medical conditions or active skin concerns in the treatment area.

Why Wink Medical Aesthetics

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Dual Lift different from traditional dermal filler?

Traditional filler treatments often focus on one area at a time. The Dual Lift takes a structural approach, placing support in two key zones so the face can lift and rebalance more naturally — improving overall harmony rather than isolated fullness.

How do I know if I need a Dual Lift instead of treating one area?

Many patients come in thinking they need to treat a specific line or area, but what they’re noticing is actually related to structural changes. During your consultation, we evaluate how your facial support has shifted to determine whether this approach will create a more complete result.

Will I look overdone or overfilled?

No. By focusing on support and balance rather than fullness, results tend to look natural and subtle. Most patients feel like they look more refreshed, not different.

Is the Dual Lift done in one appointment?

Not always. The first visit builds the structural foundation, and a follow-up about four weeks later allows us to refine results once everything has settled. Some patients complete treatment in one phase; others build gradually over time.

How long do results last?

Most patients enjoy results for approximately 12–18 months depending on treatment areas and individual factors. Because this treatment focuses on structure, results often feel more balanced and longer-lasting than single-area treatments.

Is there downtime?

Most patients experience only mild swelling or bruising for a few days and return to normal activities the same day.

How much does the Dual Lift cost?

Dual Lift treatments typically start around $2,999, depending on your personalized plan. During your consultation, we’ll walk you through exactly what’s recommended so you have a clear understanding from the start.
